Since the beginning of the 70s, Francis Meyvaert decided to specialize in the processing, edging and finishing of glass of all kind, shapes and thickness, particularly destined for the furniture industry.

By doing this, he gave rise to a new world for Meyvaert Glas. They no longer manufactured mirrors for individuals, but intensively prospected for companies who were active in large acquisitions of glass for the furniture industry.
